  1. Through the candlelight I see you
  2. your divine angelic face
  3. adorned with a playful smile
  4. that betrays your wild streak
  5. hidden just under your facade of innocence
  6. My eyes linger on your lips
  7. and my soul burns to kiss them
  8. to move my mouth next to yours
  9. to whisper sweet nothings
  10. to slightly caress your lips with mine
  11. In the darkness the flame flickers
  12. I can see it dancing in your eyes
  13. a bright sliver of fire
  14. reflected in your icy crystal eyes
  15. a mere glimmer of the fire in your soul
  16. a fire that radiates a heat which warms me
  17. Beautiful eyes glowing in the dark
  18. eyes which a tear should never touch
  19. and everytime a tear falls from those eyes
  20. ad rolls down your delicate face
  21. I die a little
  22. I should have stopped that tear
  23. but I did not
  24. and I want to say that I'm sorry
  25. and fall on my knees to ask for forgiveness
  26. for not kissing the tears away
  27. for not wrapping you in my arms
  28. for not being everything you need
  29. The words linger on my tongue
  30. through the candlelight I see your face
  31. your delicate features never cease to amaze me
  32. in your eyes I see that you know
  33. that you know everything I want to say
  34. and I know it is not necessary
  35. my lips open to say them anyway
  36. but they not the words I intended
  37. carefully planned verses never leave my tongue
  38. instead I only manage a faint whisper
  39. "I love you"
  40. and in our eyes I see that you always knew.
